Analysis and design of analog integrated circuits

The book, Analysis and Design of Analog Integrated Circuits, or simply ?Gray and Meyer? to many in its first three editions, was first published by John Wiley in 1977. It contained much of the material that Paul Gray and Bob Meyer had developed for their IC design classes at Berkeley, and then some. Reading it was the next best thing to actually being a student in those classes. The book was quickly adopted for use in senior/graduate courses; in the 1990s, it was in use in 76 different departments across the US, and many more around the world. It has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. Although initially the coverage was exclusively in terms of bipolar transistors, starting with the second edition (1984), MOSFET circuits were added. It has taught analog IC principles to generations of engineers
