Pengaruh Kompensasi dan Pengawasan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang



Based on the background of the research, it is known the number of outgoing

employees from PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang during 2018 was 41

people. This high turnover rate can be detrimental to the company, such as

recruiting new employees and conducting training. analysis needs to be done to

find out the cause of the high turnover of PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras

Semarang is high, which is caused by the low of job satisfaction. This research

aimed to find out the influence of compensation and supervision toward job

satisfaction at PT. Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang. Data collection methods

in this research are questionnaires, interviews and observations. The analysis

technique used is multiple linear regression analysis equipped with a classic

assumption test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results of

multiple linear regression analysis with the equation Y = 0.501X1 + 0.630 X2. The

coefficient of determination in this research is 65.1% which means, 65.1% of

employee’s job satisfaction could be influence by compensation, whereas the

remaining 45.9% is influenced by other variables not which are not observed in

this research. The result of the research is compensastion and supervision

simultaneously and significantly influence employee’s job satisfaction
