The Influence of Leadership Style and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Toward Job's Satisfaction ( a Case Study at PT Mitra Kargo Indonesia)
The purposes of this study were to analyze the influence of Leadership
Style (X1) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (X2) as independent variables
on Job Satisfaction (Y) as dependent variable and to find out how many
contributions of all independent variables to dependent variable. Multiple Linear
Regression Analysis method was used in this study equipped with the Classic
Assumption Test and Coefficient of Determination. Data used in this study were
primary data collected from returned questionnaires distributed to all 60
employees of Operational and Document Division at PT Mitra Kargo Indonesia.
The methods of collecting data were distributing questionnaire and
interview. Among 60 distributed questionnaire there were 46 questionnaire
returned and analyzed. The result of this study showed that simultaneously and
significantly all of independent variables influence dependent variable. Based on
F-test the sig. value is 0.000 that was less than 0.05 as a significant standard. The
result of t test for leadership style had a significant value of 0.015. This showed
that there is an influence of leadership styles on job satisfaction. The result of t
test for organizational citizenship behavior had the significant value of 0.014.
This showed that there was an influence of organizational citizenship behaviors
on job satisfaction. While based on coefficient of determination test, it was found
that leadership style and organizational citizenship behavior have contribution to
job satisfaction as much as 60.1%. The remaining 39.9 % was influenced by other
variables which are not examined in this study. In addition, the result of multiple
linear regression analysis is Y= -11.930 + 0.437X1 + 0.647 X2. The model showed
positive equation of leadership style and organizational citizenship behavior, it
meant the better the leadership style and organizational citizenship behavior the
