PT Bakhtera Trans Cargo Semarang is an international freight forwarding company engaged in ocean transportation and air freght agency servyces, ship real, exhibition, cargo planning and other transportation services. The technique of the data analysis in this research is a descriptive method. The data were collected by conducting interview and observation, and observint literature. The result of this research are regarding archive management at PT Bakhtera Trans Cargo Semarang. Archive management at PT Bakhtera Trans Cargo Semarang starting from creation, use, maintenance and destroy. However, archive management at PT Bakhtera Trans Cargo Semarang has not run optimally, because of incomplete equipment for archive management, maintenance of records that are rarely don and the absence of an archive borrowing card. This can result in damage and loss of archives. To minimize the occurence of damage and loss of archives, PT Bakhtera Trans Cargo Semarang must provide complete archive management equipment, a schedule for maintaining records and providing an archive loan card.
