This study aims to analyze the influence of JKN-KIS direct marketing on improving number of membership in BPJS Health Program Branch Semarang. This study used data collection methods in the form of interviews, distributing questionnaires and literature study. Data had been collected were analyzed by SPSS 20 and using simple linear regression, t test and coefficient of determination to determine whether the tested data were valid or not. The results in this study shows that direct marketing had a regression coefficient of 0.247 and a significant value of 0.000. The t test also shows that direct marketing had an effect on increasing the number of participants with the result of Ho was refused and Ha was accepted. The results on the coefficient of direct marketing determination affected only 0.305 or 30.5%. While the rest of 69.5% were influenced by other variables that were not mentioned in this study. From the results of data processing on direct marketing of JKN-KIS to increasing the number of membership, especially in Tembalang it was concluded that direct marketing was not very influential in an effort to increase the number of membership JKN-KIS, but although it was not too influential it would be good if the company does not underestimate the results of direct marketing because this would further improve the performance in direct marketing so that the results obtained would be higher than before.
