Penerapan Penilaian Prestasi Kerja dalam Rangka Evaluasi Kinerja Karyawan Hotel Pandanaran Semarang



Performance appraisal is something that should be applicated by the company, the purpose is to know the achievements that could be achieved by the employees. Generally, the employees less of knowing the terms, requirements, levels, and the purpose of performance appraisal in the company. Sometimes employees do not think about the problem of their performance because the company has set itself. The importance of performance appraisal could be used as an evaluation of employees performance. This research used descriptive method. The data obtained from the primary data. It consisted of observations and interviews were also supported by secondary data obtained from documents in accordance with the object of research and literature study. There are two performance appraisal found in Pandanaran Semarang Hotel’s; perform indicator and regular appraisal. Performance appraisal was done openly and the employees were participated in provided self appraisal. Whereas the employees were participated, the final result of performance appraisal decided by the leader. The final result of the performance appraisal was made as an evaluation for the employees performance to improve performance become a better in the future.
