The purposes of this research were to find out (1) The influence of work motivation on salesperson performace at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Branch Office Semarang Barat, (2) The influence of work discipline on salesperson performance at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Branch Office Semarang Barat, and (3) The influence of work motivation and work discipline on salesperson at PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Branch Office Semarang Barat. This study was a survey method with interviews, literature study, observation, and questionnaires. The sample in this study were 45 salesperson of the PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Branch Office Semarang Barat with purposive sampling. The data analysis techniques used was multiple regression. From the analysis of multiple regression in this research, it could be found that the work motivation and work discipline had positive impact on the salesperson performance. The most dominant variable that positively influenced the salesperson performance is the work discipline. While from the result of determination coefficient (Adjusted R Square) showed that 0,694 or 69,4% of the dependent variable were work motivation and work discipline. It mean that 69,4% of the salesperson performance was explained by them. While 30,6% was explained by other variables which were not explored in this research.
