Pengukuran kesadadaran merek pada jasa pengiriman barang PT Pos Indonesia (persero) regional VI Jateng dan DIY



This research was performed to know whether brand of PT Pos Indonesia has become top of mind, and to know how to measure brand awareness, which is based on top of mind levels, such as brand recall, brand recognition and unaware of brand. The method which is used in this method is survey method. The population which is used is society of Semarang which is divided into 4 district, those are Banyumanik District, South semarang District, candisari District and Tembalang District. The sample of the research are amount 100 peoples as respondents and technique in sample taking is non probability sampling, namely convenience sampling. Data source which are used are primary data and secondary data, while data collecting method which is used is questioner with descriptive discussion analyze, those are frequency and tables. This research showed that the brand of Pos Indonesia has been top of mind, that is 44%. From the calculation analyze of brand awareness element was founded that the brand of Pos Indonesia is on the top of mind (44%), brand of JNE is on the first place on brand recall analyze (30%), on brand recognition analyze is founded 19% respondents and on unaware of brand analyze is 3% respondent, who didn’t known Pos Indonesia brand at all. Conclusion, for increasing awareness of brand of Pos Indonesia Company, which has to struggle to keep on the top of mind with doing rewiew to increase mind of the consumer sthrough various kinds of promotion activity such as advertisement, magazine, and atcetera
