Garment is one of the exported flagship products to other countries by PT. Starlight Garment Semarang which is also one of the flagship companies in the Central Java Province. The objective of this research is to examine the barriers faced by PT. Starlight Garment Semarang in doing export activities. This research uses Factor Analysis method with SPSS to test the influence of independent variables such as procedures, external, resources, export restrictions, knowledge, and internal variable on dependent variable factors obstruct the process of garment export in PT. Starlight Garment Semarang.the primary data of this research were collected by distributing the questionnaires to 33 permanent employees who have worked for more than two years in PT. Starlight Garment Semarang. The result of the research shows that the dominant factor that often obstruct the process of garment export in PT. Starlight Garment Semarang is the knowledge factor with the value of 23.17%, followed by the procedure factor of 13.8%, external factor of 11.56%, internal factor of 8.32%, then resource factor of 7.88%, and the last is export obstacle factor of 7.09%. This concluded that the factors that barriers PT. Starlight Garment Semarang to increase export activity that has the biggest to the smallest influence are knowledge, procedure, external, internal, resources and the last is export barriers. The factors quantity that influence in this research is 71,84%.
