Rancang bangun media promosi berbasis web pada UMKM Batik Temawon Semarang



UMKM Batik Temawon is a company that provides a broad range of semarangan batik, printed batik semarangan, batik apparel and so on. Although batik products from Batik Temawon have diverse ranges of products but in promotion the products Batik Temawon still use offline promotion such as direct sales on the spot, by word of mouth, using the cards and so on. The methods were still considered less beneficial compared with the online product promotion. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based of marketing media to help the expansion of promotion the products using the website and also provide product information to consumers in the form that can be accessed through online at any time. This research method used waterfall method, and the method of data collection was interview, observation, and literature studies. Softwares used in the design of this website were Mozzila firefox, photoshop, and corel draw. The expected outcome of the research by making of this 5 website is that Batik Temawon can do publicity and market their products via online media, helps expand the promotion of the product, and the product information supplied can be accessed by consumers quickly and easily via the web-based marketing media that have been made.
