The purpose of this research is to find out the spatial conditions in the land book room at Badan Pertanahan Nasional Kota Semarang, and also to know how filling system procedure in this room. The technique data analysis in this research using a descriptive qualitative method, and for collecting data is using literature, observation, and interview. The result of this research is the spatial layout in land book room at Badan Pertanahan Nasional Kota Semarang is not good enough because in this room there are so many paper scattered on various the corner of the room. So many tools and office supllies in this room, therefore the job that the employees do a little disturbed. Lending procedure archive in this room also not good enough because there is no clear procedure for the borrowers, that is causing trouble in the rediscovery of archieve. The land book room at BPN Kota Semarang have to make the rules stricter in terms of lending archieve.
