Needs of the community on insurance encourages insurance companies to compete to get customers. The need for insurance services are increasingly perceived by both individuals and businesses in Indonesia. The company will implement a marketing strategy aimed at increasing product sales volume of insurance services. PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch is trying to find out what marketing strategies that need to be applied to the company so that the company gets the maximum profit. Therefore, researcher examined the company so the company can find a strategy which will be used in the future to compete with other insurance companies.The researcher wanted to know the effect of the overall marketing strategy; such as market segmentation, targeting, positioning and differentiaion, to increase the sales volume of insurance products by PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch. The population in the study were all employees of PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch. The method used is the census methods of all employees in Unit Manager at PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch. Questionnaires were distributed to 36 respondents as the research sample.To be able to answer the formulation problems posed, used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and differentiation simultaneously significant effect on sales volume. Partially, the variables of market segmentation, targeting, positioning, and differentiation, have a significant effect on sales volume. Then the ability of independent variables to explain the dependent variable in the research model by 89.5 percent, while the remaining 10.5 percent is influenced by other variables.
