The development of information technology increases rapidly and continues to grow at this time. In doing their every day jobs EXIM section of PT Semarang Autocomp Manufacturing Indonesia manages archive manually. Problems in managing archive especially related to human error often happen. The main purposes of this final project are to create the archives application to make faster input archive document, to search archive document more accurately and to give information in managing arcive document. It is designed by Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. The methods of data collection are observation, interview and literature study. It uses System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop information system, design system, implementation system and maintenance system. The result of this final project is an application of information system can help archive activity more effective and efficient, and to minimize human error.
