Analisis pengaruh promosi dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian sepeda motor Honda Vario pada Dealer PT. Nusantara Sakti Cabang Sukun Semarang



The purpose of this research is to find out the influences of promotion (X1), brand image (X2), purchase decision (Y) on Honda Vario at motorcycle dealer PT Nusantara Sakti Semarang Branch Sukun. The analysis methods used were multiple regresion analysis and coefficient of determination. Before analyzing, the data had been tested using validity an reliability test and also hypothesis test. This research used 100 respondent with likert scale. The result of multiple linear regression is Y = 2.142 + 0.392 X1 + 0.373 X2. The result of the hypothesis test showed that all the variables of this research were positive. It can be seen that tcount of promotion is 4.423 and the significance is 0.000,and tcount of brand image variable is 4.051 and the significance is 0.000. Simultaneously, two variables influencethe purchase decision due to Fcount (23.314) >Ftable (3.09). The coefficient of determination is 0.311 which means that the purchase decision of 31.1% is influenced by promotion (X1) and brand image (X2) while the rest 68.9% was influenced by other factors.
