This research aims to know the archive of PT PLN (Persero) before and after having optimalization. The data collection techniques used are interview, observation, literature review and questionaires. The electric archival activity is conducted by using Pilot Project. The respondents are the archive officers of PT PLN (Persero) Kudus Area and other office units such as Kudus, Jepara, Bangsri, Pati, Juwana, Rembang, Blora and Cepu. The optimalization of electronic archive was held on February 22nd 2016 until April 29th 2016. The optimalization which is conducted relates to filing, storage equipment, labeling tools, guide of basic arrangement, re-discovery, computer equipment, precision of archive officer, neatness of archives, agility of archive officer, archive in general as on input and output. The result of questionaire shows that the respondents give positive perception of archive optimalization training in PT PLN (Persero). The score of questionaire before training is about 244 and its average is 2,033, after training increased by 474 with average of 3,95. Based on the average of quationaire result can be concluded there is a change of archive quality before and after training
