In Department of Financial Management and Local Asset-The Government of Semarang City, the archival system is managed manually. This Final Project is intended to help archival process handling at Department of Financial Management and Local Asset-The Government of Semarang City by making Archival Information System Program Based on Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 for recording of incoming and outgoing mail.Making this Archival Information System Program, it is used a method, system development life cycle – SDLC) or system life cycle – SLC. The benefit are, make it easy handling of archival, to speed up in report making incoming/outcoming mail, and making more effective and efficient to searching mail To resolve this problem, it is needed to create a system using Archival Information System Program Based on Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9.0 Application. Because this program is very effective and efficient to record incoming and outgoing mails and the mail could be found easily.
