Pengaruh locus of control dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada dinas sosial, pemuda dan olahraga kota Semarang



This research is to know the influence of financial compensation and non financial compensation on employee’s working motivation at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of locus of control, work satisfaction on employees performance at Dinas Sosial, Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Semarang. The methods of collecting data are observation, literatures study and questionnaires to 114 employees with census. The analysis techniques used are validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, t-test, f-test and the coefficient of determination. Analysis of data uses multiple linier regression. It is obtained that the regression equation Y equals 187,690 + 17,068X1 + 42,612X2. The work satisfaction variable is more dominant and has positive influence on employees performance at Dinas Sosial, Pemuda and Olahraga Kota Semarang. Locus of control and work satisfaction variables, partially have positive influence on employees performance. The f-test shows that simultaneously the locus of control and work satisfaction have positive influence on employees performance. The coefficient of determination shows that 71,6% employees performance influenced by locus of control and work satisfaction variables, while the remaining 28,4% influenced by other variables which are not included in this research. It is recommended that Dinas Sosial, Pemuda dan Olahraga Kota Semarang should increase of work satisfaction because it is more influencial.
