The company’s policy in planning and controlling inventory should be able calculate inventory costs incurred by the application of an effective inventory management to relize all the potential value chain so the company can operate with the most minimal inventory cost. This Final Project has the purpose to analyze the management of inventory in 2014 at the PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Kebun Ngobo with Economic Production Quantity method, to calculate the amount of the economic production quantity that minimizes total inventory cost. The data required are recapitulation in 2014 of inventory, set-up cost, holding cost, cost of production in 2014 and the overview of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX (Persero) Divisi Tanaman Tahunan Kebun Ngobo. The data collection is done by interviewing and observing. The writing method used description method and exposition method. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis method with EPQ calculation. Based on the result of calculation can be known amount of the economic production quantity, production cycle and total cost of inventory for the commodity of rubber.
