Pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada dinas tenaga kerja, transmigrasi dan kependudukan provinsi Jawa Tengah



The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of respondents, to analyze the impact of motivation and discipline on the performance of employees, to determine the variable employee’s performance, and to find the most dominant variables of motivation and the impact of labor discipline on employee performance. The methods of collecting data this research were interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. From the analysis of linear regression in this research, it could be found out that the work motivation and labor discipline had positive impact on the employee’s performance. The most dominant variable that positively influenced the employee’s performance is the labor discipline. While from the result of determination coefficient (Adjusted R) showed that 0,376 or 37% of the free variable were work motivation and labor discipline. It meant that 37% of the employee’s performance was explained by them. While 62,4% was explained by other variables which not explored in this research.
