Pengaruh Kompensasi dan Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan Pada PMI Kota semarang



PMI of Semarang is an organization that specializes in public service sector and concentrate on health and humanitarian activities. In his work PMI of Semarang has been able to provide compensation to the employee, but the compensation given to employees of the PMI of semarang was inconsistent. Moreover Low employee commitment to the organization seen from the level of unpungtualy employees are always increasing in each month. It can be as supposition that employees of PMI Semarang in work have not been satisfied. The aim of this research is to find out the contribution and influance of the following variabels: compensation and organizational commitment on the employees’ job satisfaction. The data for this research was obtained from 50 respondents, all employees of PMI of Semarang. Data collection was done through interviews and questionnairs, and the data were analyzed using the validity test, reliability test, T test, F test, and determination of coefficient on SPSS program 17.0 in supporting this study. Based on the result of multiple linear regression analysis it could be shown by the regression equation Y = 1,598+0,414 +0,373 , and then by that regression equation, it would be known that the compensation and organizational commitment had a positive influence on employees’ job satisfaction.
