The purposes of this workshop and garage sale were to help the beginners as well as the online shop owners to develop the business, introduce and establish communication between the online shop owners in Semarang, introducing the Semarang State Polytechnic through out the events. Workshop and garage sale with the theme “Open Your Mind, Get Your Success” by Semarang State Polytechnic implemented 7 strategies, and those were target audience, speaker selection, the choice of location, dating, promotion, budging and cost strategies. The Workshop was held on Saturday, May 17th from 8 AM to 11 AM in MICE room Semarang State Polytechnic, while the Garage sale was held on Friday to Saturday, May 16th until 17th from 9 AM to 3 PM in the canteen of Tata Niaga. The Workshop whose theme was the “development of the success” presented two resource persons who were sharing their experience of being online shop owners talking about the ways to improve the online business. First speaker was Mrs. Lucia Resmiputri, S.E, the owner of colourful secondshop, and the second speaker was Mrs. Afina Hasya Sinaga, the owner of Mounira Boutiqe. They explained about Marketing Mix in online shopping. the. workshop was attended by 41 participants from 50 applicants. whereas the garage sale was followed by 12 booth online. of all the participants who also filled out the questionnaire expressing their satisfaction with the workshop and garage sale.
