Exploring E-Payment Adoption Model (a Case Study of Shopeepay In Indonesia)

Shopeepay is an e-payment issued by the e-marketplace Shopee in 2017 and started having a license from BI in 2018. This study used the UTAUT2 model theory to find out how Shopeepay is accepted for users. The purpose of this study is to explain what adoption model has that affects the acceptance of Shopeepay by users and to find out how much influence behavioral intention has on the use behavior in using Shopeepay as an e-payment by users. The data used in this study were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 200 Shopeepay users in Indonesia. The data collection technique used was Snowball sampling. The data in this study were processed using PLS-SEM assisted by WarpPLS version 6.0 software. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the adoption models that influence Shopeepay's acceptance are performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, price value, and habit. In addition, the results show that behavioral intention has a significant influence on use behavior.
