Fire is an unwanted fire. Fires that occur without any element of intention can cause material losses and can even take a person's life. The cause of the fire itself can occur due to lightning strikes, direct contact of fire with flammable media, also due to electrical short circuit. In highrise residential buildings, the safety factor for fires is very important. As a place to live, W / R Apartment Simpang Lima must provide facilities in the form of fire protection and an adequate control system. In this case, the management of W / R Apartment Simpang Lima must also ensure that the existing fire protection system can function optimally when a fire occurs. Because of the difficulties faced in achieving the ideal category of fire prevention and prevention systems, it is necessary to evaluate the results that can be used as a reference for feasibility and efforts to improve feasibility. In this case, evaluations were carried out on site components, rescue facilities, active fire protection systems, and passive fire protection. The guidelines used to conduct feasibility assessments are in accordance with NSPM PD-T-11- 2005-C. The final result of this evaluation is knowing the level of feasibility of each component. The percentage of suitability for components of the location is 91.95%, salvage facilities 97.92%, active fire protection components 92.96%, and passive fire protection components 92.00%. In this final assignment also discussed the preventive and fire prevention system maintenance planning which refers to Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 26 / PRT / M / 2008 and SNI on each component that is reviewed. The results of this study, hope that it can be used by the management of building management for guidance in maintaining the existing fire prevention and control system
