This research was based on consequences of export cancellation. PT EMKL Wahyu Mandiri is a freight forwarding company engaged in import export management services which has roles to give solutions to the exporter. The purpose of this research were to describe about the procedure of export cancelation, the consequences action of freight forwarder, and to analyze the cost or loss of export cancellation based on exporter side and freight forwarder side. The methodology used in this research uses descriptive about the general description on the completion strategy by PT EMKL Wahyu Mandiri on issues of reject export. The results of this study were the procedure of export cancellation as follows; PT EMKL make statement letter for shipper. Then, shipper give confirmation letter for shipping company that container was cancelled. After it is accepted, shipping company will make statement letter for Customs. Next, Customs will publish export cancellation approval. After that, if the Depot approve it, container will be returned to depot. The last, PT EMKL will send the refund to buyer. Consequence action of PT EMKL Wahyu Mandiri was the export goods that canceled was being shipper responsibility, because they are the authority party of goods. Total losses caused by export delay is Rp. 6.725.000 or 3,1% of the value of Free On Board (FOB) is Rp. 218.528.140. Some steps to resolve the reject exports by canceling Export Declaration (PEB), expenditures of Container Yard (CY), unloading goods in warehouse exporters, returning empty containers to the container depot, and then start the export process from the beginning. Suggestion of this research is to provide a list of shipping company that is good and bad to facilitate exporters choose a shipping company, PT EMKL Wahyu Mandiri and PT Glory Indonesia Textile made a formal contract that contains indemnities by PT Glory Indonesia Textile in case of reject exports, and in the process PT EMKL Wahyu Mandiri settlement should be handled by more than one employee in order to accelerate the completion of export delays.
