This research aimed to explain the strategy for increasing the obedience of private taxpayers for paying the taxes and explain the contribution of private taxpayers obedience on the realization of taxes acceptance at Pratama Semarang Candisari Tax Office. This research used the descriptive qualitative method that explained about the strategy for increasing the obedience of private taxpayers in obligation for paying the taxes at Pratama Semarang Candisari Tax Office and the obstacle that happened due to taxpayers waywardness in payment. The primary data and secondary data were collected by doing the direct interview in Pratama Semarang Candisari Tax Office. The study found that the obedience of private taxpayers in obligation of paying the taxes must be followed by conscious attitude in paying the taxes, knowledge, and understanding about the regulation of taxes. A good perception on services tax system will give the positive affect in increasing the obedience of private taxpayers in obligation for paying the taxes at Pratama Semarang Candisari Tax Office
